Which Wedding Venue?

Selecting your wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you will have to make. We know the possibilities are endless so we'll try to make this task easier by reviewing some of the venues that Reveries Weddings transform, starting with Combe Bank School.

Combe Bank was built in the 1720's. This elegant Palladian mansion house was originally a family home and is now an Independent Girls Day School. It boasts over 27 acres of grassy lawns which are perfect for that after ceremony drink!

The wedding breakfast is held in the school canteen, but don't let this put you off! These are our before and after shots showing what we can achieve :

Combe Bank School is one of our favourites because it is on 2 levels providing opportunities for creating different environments. The upstairs school hall can be perfect for your evening entertainment.

Surrey Downs Wedding Fair

This successful wedding fair was unique from others in that it was an evening affair. It had a relaxed atmosphere with brides and grooms to be floating around with a glass of champagne in hand.

We transformed the suite with chair covers, lighting, free flowing fabrics and table displays - including an exotic ostrich feather centre piece. All set for a wedding.

The beautiful flowers were provided by Vivienne Legrove who is our recommended southeast florist. If you would like to contact her please let us know.

This page, we hope shall be a useful tool for us and our brides to be. We will be able to inform you of wedding fairs and open days that we shall be attending so that you can pop along and visit us. The photographs below, are from the open day we held at Russ Hill Hotel last sunday. We transformed the suite and bar area using free flowing voiles, chair covers and washes of colour giving a winter wonderland feel - in keeping with the weather that day!
